John brings more than 20 years of experience providing strategic oversight to deliver operational excellence and outstanding performance. Most recently, John served as Vice President and General Manager of the Aortic business at Medtronic. He also served in key leadership roles for Medtronic’s Cardiovascular and Diabetes Groups, including Vice President of the Americas region for the Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring business unit and Vice President for Asia Pacific.
John earned his BA from Duke University and his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Stephanie has held HR leadership positions among some of the world’s leading organizations, including Edwards Lifesciences, Johnson and Johnson, Hologic, and Allergan. Most recently, she has spent time at Hugel Aesthetics, a growth-focused multinational organization where she was instrumental in growing the business more than 400% in less than two years.
Stephanie received her undergraduate degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and holds an MBA from Walden University.
Chief Financial Officer
Vikram spent more than 13 years in roles of increasing responsibility across strategy, business development, global marketing, regulatory affairs, and clinical affairs. Most recently, Vikram worked at Verily Life Sciences, where he was the Business Development lead for the medical device portfolio, and Medtronic, where he spent many years leading upstream marketing, business development and strategy.
Vikram has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Senior Vice President, Operations
Kathleen is an accomplished Inside Sales and Customer Care executive with more than 15 years of experience. Her expertise spans driving process improvement and operational excellence, utilizing metrics/analytics to deliver results, and leading organizations through large-scale expansion. Most recently, Kathleen was Senior Director, Inside Sales Initiatives at Alto Pharmacy, a telehealth pharmacy startup. She has held operational leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Cardinal Health, Medtronic, W.W. Grainger and Deloitte Consulting.
Kathleen received undergraduate degrees from the University of Illinois and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Senior Vice President, Market Access and Reimbursement
Cara Santillo is the SVP of Market Access and Reimbursement where she is responsible for reimbursement strategy for HeartFlow’s current and future product portfolio. In addition, she works closely with HeartFlow’s sales team and customers on cardiovascular reimbursement and health policy related issues. With over 15 years of experience in market access strategy, Cara is well-versed in commercial payer and Medicare policies related to physician services and hospital inpatient, outpatient, and physician office-based procedures.
Prior to joining HeartFlow, Cara worked at Elekta as the Sr. Director of Global Policy and at Bayer Healthcare as manager of reimbursement and health policy for their interventional radiology and cardiology divisions. Before Bayer, she advised pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies on Medicare and private payer coding, coverage and reimbursement issues at the Neocure Group, a boutique medical technology consulting firm. Ms. Santillo holds a master’s degree from the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health in health management and policy and a BS in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University with concentrations in public policy and economics.
Chief Technology Officer
Tim has 18 years of experience leading the development and market introduction of innovative healthcare technologies. He joined HeartFlow in 2010 and held various product, technology, and commercial leadership roles to build HeartFlow’s product and service. Previously, Tim led design engineering at Cameron Health (acquired by Boston Scientific) to bring the world’s first S-ICD from development to clinical use. He co-founded a company to develop custom-fit healthcare products and was a researcher in blood flow modeling from medical image data at Stanford. Tim holds over 140 patents and peer reviewed publications.
He received a B.S in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and M.S. in engineering from Stanford.
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Campbell brings a wealth of experience to HeartFlow, where he serves as the Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining HeartFlow, he was the Chief Scientific Officer and Global Head of Research and Development at Cordis Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, where he was responsible for leading investments and research in cardiovascular devices. Prior to Cordis, he was Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard-M.I.T. Division of Health Sciences and Technology, and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization and Experimental Cardiovascular Interventional Laboratories at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He served as Principal Investigator for numerous interventional cardiology device, diagnostic, and pharmacology trials, is the author of numerous journal articles, chapters, and books in the area of coronary artery and other cardiovascular diseases, and was the recipient of research grant awards from the NIH and AHA.
He received his A.B. from Harvard College and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
Senior Vice President, Marketing, International Sales & Customer Success
Shivanth brings over 15 years of experience in the medical technology industry, spanning a multitude of roles from global commercial and marketing leadership to strategy, sales, business development and regulatory affairs. Most recently, Shivanth had been leading Heartflow’s US commercial enablement team to help expand availability and awareness of Heartflow’s technologies to a growing number of patients with suspected coronary artery disease. Previously, he led global marketing and commercial teams at Medtronic’s cardiology and vascular businesses, spearheading multiple successful multichannel marketing campaigns and product launches.
Shivanth holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree in Medical Devices and Diagnostic Engineering from the University of Southern California.
Senior Vice President, US Sales
Nathan is an accomplished sales leader with more than 18 years of healthcare experience. He has held a variety of positions spanning sales representative, sales training and development, managed care, and field clinical leadership. Most recently, Nathan worked at Medtronic where he was the Vice President of the U.S. Field Sales and Clinical organization for the Diabetes Operating Unit.
Nathan received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Cal Poly Humboldt State University.
