Results from HeartFlow’s first multicenter study (DISCOVER-FLOW) were published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) in November 2011. DISCOVER-FLOW was a prospective multicenter study to determine the diagnostic performance of FFRCT compared to measured FFR at the time of invasive coronary angiography (ICA) in patients with suspected or known coronary artery disease (CAD). FFRCT was performed on 159 vessels in 103 patients undergoing coronary CT scans, invasive angiography, and measurement of FFR.

FFRCT led to a 70% reduction in false positives and 42% improvement in per-vessel diagnostic accuracy when compared to CCTA. For more information, please click the thumbnails below.
